Planned Gifts from Planned Gifts

April 28, 2021 by LALMN

Planned Gifts from Planned Gifts
Original Presentation: April 2021
From discovery to solicitation to stewardship, it takes time and cultivation to develop a deep philanthropic relationship with a donor that yields a legacy commitment. With the connection and trust already in place, these donors are often your best prospects for the next – or increased – planned gift. In this session, we will remember this key donor demographic and explore ways to inspire, nurture and solicit their next planned gift to support your mission-critical work.

About the Speaker:

Nearly twenty-five years of experience working with high-net worth individuals and organizations has given Kari Clark deep insight into leadership, fundraising and strategy development. Her proven record with nonprofits includes YWCA, the United Way, Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and Gustavus Adolphus College. Her consulting firm, Onebeehiving Consulting LLC, offers agile fundraising, social impact strategy and legal services to help nonprofit leaders and organizations to capitalize on their strengths.

A licensed attorney in the State of Minnesota, Kari received her JD from William Mitchell College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Gustavus Adolphus College. She co-founded Gustavus Women in Leadership and served on their advisory board for a decade. She has also served on the Twin Cities Dress for Success Board of Directors and as a member of the annual Conference Planning Committee for the Minnesota Planned Giving Council.
