Leave a Legacy™ Minnesota is a public awareness program to encourage individuals of all ages and financial capacities to include their favorite charities in their estate plans. It is an exciting program to assist all Minnesota nonprofits. A positive way to encourage individuals to consider a bequest is to explain the benefits and joys of giving by sharing stories of planned gifts.
As part of the Leave a Legacy™ program we are seeking media coverage from local television and radio stations and newspapers. One of the major focuses of the coverage will be touching examples of individuals or couples who are “leaving a legacy” and the nonprofit recipients of past or future legacy gifts. We would like to feature your organization and/or donors, but to do so we need background information regarding their gifts. A Leave a Legacy™ representative will contact you prior to using your story.
